Masson Mills - Car Park

Car Parks...

The car park at Masson Mills is attracting some attention, both positive and negative.

It's a great area to park with only a short walk into Matlock Bath and Cromford - However it is also being used for Anti-Social Behaviour.

We have received calls for service at different times of the day & night, where 'boy racers' are using the car park to  cause ASB issues, such as excess revving of vehicle engines, doing doughnuts, wheel spins and even filming such behaviours, to post on social media.

 Although this may be appealing to some people, it does not to the others, especially when you are a resident(s) of the area.

Police have been working with Masson Mills to reduce such issues that are occurring in the car park and are continuing to take positive action against anyone found to be acting in an Anti-Social manner.

We are asking anyone wanting to visit the area, please do in a respectful manner - not only for the safety of yourselves, but for others also.
